The second quarter of 2022 saw notable trends in the performance of the top Art and Design apps on the Android platform in Ghana. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top 5 apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $180 in late March and dropping to approximately $124 by the end of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 6.2K in late April before dipping to about 1.6K by the end of June. Active users presented a downward trend from 40.2K in late March to 35.9K by the end of the quarter.

Animated Sticker Maker (FSM) had steady weekly downloads, ranging from around 1.4K to 1.5K throughout the quarter, with a slight dip to 954 in late May. The app's active users saw a slight increase from 2.6K in late March to 2.7K by the end of June.

Pixelcut AI Photo Editor showed a steady rise in weekly revenue, starting at $1 in late March and peaking at $30 in early June. Weekly downloads were more volatile, reaching a high of 3.1K in early May before dropping significantly to 103 by the end of June. Poster Maker & flyer maker app maintained a consistent weekly revenue of around $13. Weekly downloads peaked at 1.1K in mid-April and saw a low of 310 in late May, ending the quarter at 423. Active users also fluctuated, reaching a high of 1.4K in mid-April and dropping to 605 by the end of June.

Kids Art & Drawing Game saw a remarkable increase in weekly downloads, starting from 16 in early May to over 1.3K by late June. Active users also grew significantly, from 31 in mid-May to 1.8K by the end of June.
